Caldwell 10th year anniversary handmade leather case.

This is an authentic, handmade Purera from Ubrique, Spain. What we have come to know as a Cigar Case began a very long time ago in the small village of Ubrique. Originally, leather pouches were crafted to bring contraband tobacco by horse through the Andalusian mountains north. They crafted these pouches and mounted them underneath the horses that they rode. Over the course of time, they found their current iteration, the cigar case. They are still made by hand in Ubrique by the same artisan families that have been fabricating these beautiful cases for years. I fell in love with the story as soon as I heard it. We had to make our own. They are made slowly using naturally tanned leather and no chemicals.
